From an economic point of view the U.S should probably withdraw. It is uncertain as to what will happen after the U.S.' withdrawal, groups like Al Qaeda could regain influence.

The Taliban and the government aren't really seeing things eye to eye. Pakistan & Iran will probably increase its support for different groups. The country could become even messier than it was before.
